Race Info

Every participant has to:

  • wear a helmet
  • use a safe bike without electric assistance
  • be considerate on the parcours towards other participants, checkpoint staff, race organizers and
    spectators
  • ride without the influence of substances which endanger the road worthiness
  • be cautious with the road surface of the parcours
  • stay right on the race track
  • give way to all traffic from the right at junctions

 

Checkpoints

  • Respect the checkpoint staff
  • Get in line and prepare your manifest/cargo in advance
  • First come, first served
  • If you are rude, you can be punished by the head of checkpoint and/or race organizers (withdrawal
    of gained money and/or disqualification)
  • There are two lock-check-points, LOCK YOUR BIKE (be aware of the thief)

 

Every participant has 60 minutes to get as many points as one can get.
The litte numbers on the arrows tell you, how much points you get for a job.

Qualifications are on Saturday from 10:00 – 18:00.
Every participant can choose their starting time.
A start is possible every 30 second. The last possible start is at 17.00.

There is no second chance.

Write your name and racenumber on every page of the manifests.

• If name and number is missing, the manifest can't be evaluated.

• There is one manifest, which is divided in 4 blocks on 3 pages.

• You will get one page after another

• If you have finished one page, go to MFG (Start/Finish) to get a new one

• When you have finished the 3rd page, go to MFG (Start/Finish) to complete the qualification

• Your end time will be written down for you on your manifest

• Time will end, exactly when you hand in your manifest at MFG (Start/Finish)

• Consider waiting in line at MFG (Start/Finish)!!!

• Your last page will be counted all tough it might be unfinished

• If you finish late, with every beginning minute you will lose 13 points

• There are 11 checkpoints and MFG (Start/Finish)

• There are 2 lock checkpoints and 2 walking passages,

• Be aware of race marshals, they will control those areas.

• Disrespectful behavior on the racecours and/or checkpoints can result in a penalty.

• Penalties can be given by head of checkpoint and the race organization.

• If you get more than 5 penalties you will be disqualified.

Any attempt of cheating, like the sharing of manifests,
"external" dispatching support, etc. during the race
will lead to immediate disqualification.
(racers are allowed to get help to fix their broken bikes)

Problems will be only discussed at MFG (Start/Finish).

A certain amount of participants will qualify for the finals.
There will be a female quota.

There are 8 wildcards to get into the finals:
Winners (male/female) of Sprint, Goldsprint, Trackstand and Skid
The wildcards can't be passed on to somebody else.

The cargorace will last 2 hours and every participant tries to get as many points as one can get.

Cargo Race is on Sunday from 9:30 - 11:30

There will be two stages:

• If you finished one page, go to MFG to get a new one.

• Every final participant has to complete stage A to qualify to stage B (only a certain amount will qualify for stage B).

Stage B: various manifest where you can get extra jobs for extra points.

• On the manifest you'll find the names as well as the checkpoint numbers

• Your end time will be written down for you on your manifest

• Time will end, exactly when you hand in your manifest at MFG (Start/Finish)

• Consider waiting in line at MFG (Start/Finish)!!!

Notes:

  • There is a one way system
  • Right-hand traffic on all ways
  • If you lose your manifest or cargo you are not allowed to walk back to pick it up
  • In walking passages, you need to get off your bike and push
  • At roundabouts you have to give passage to participants who are already inside
  • The direction of the round-about is counter-clockwise
  • There will be people on the parcours carrying water / food /cargo/etc. so pay attention!
  • New manifest will be handed out only at MFG checkpoint
